For our 8th edition this year (Nov 6-8), we are expanding our volunteer opportunities and looking for people who want to experience the festival from the inside.
OPEN TO ALL
No age limit, and no previous experience necessary. We especially want our volunteers to be local residents and to be part of the experience the festival offers ^^
We are looking for 10 to 20 people to help.
Some will be at the festival for 3 hours, some for a day, and some may cover all 3 days. It is really up to you and what you want to do.
PICK YOUR FUN
Here are just some of the things you could help with:
• Welcome filmmakers and festival guests
• Take pictures during the events
• Help guests with red carpet props and photos
• Walk filmmakers between the red carpet and interview areas
• Count audiences with a clicker
• Collect emails and distribute wristbands
• Help filmmakers get to their signing tables
• Host the refreshment booth in the courtyard
• Keep an eye on festival equipment and decorations in circulation areas
and more!
INTERNSHIP
We are also looking for an intern to help with marketing ad event preparation.
Help with:
• Marketing and community outreach
• Flyers and posters distribution
• Social Media campaigns
• Radio & Press
School internships can be accommodated with the appropriate paperwork.
For local students, this is a chance to gain real experience in events, film, photography, media, marketing and production.

Positions are on a volunteer basis (unpaid).
We will provide an in person training session before the festival.
Assignments will be based on your interests and availability.
Volunteers under 18 will need a signed release from a parent or legal guardian. The festival only happens because people make it happen. Come be one of them.
