EVENT ATTENDANCE TERMS & CONDITIONS

By entering or attending the Event, you acknowledge that you have had a reasonable opportunity to review these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them. These Terms are available on the Event website and may also be made available at Event venues.

  1. Event Admission

The Event is open to the public unless otherwise indicated by the Organizer. Activities may take place at one or more public or privately owned venues, each of which may maintain its own policies governing entry and conduct.

Admission to any Event venue is subject to these Terms & Conditions, applicable venue policies, and reasonable instructions from the Organizer, venue management, event staff, volunteers, or security personnel.

The Organizer and the hosting venue reserve the right to refuse admission to, or remove from the Event, any person whose conduct is unsafe, disruptive, unlawful, or materially interferes with the Event or the enjoyment of other attendees.

  1. Assumption of Ordinary Risks

Attending a public event involves ordinary risks, including walking through public spaces, using seating and stairs, interacting with other attendees, and participating in Event activities.

Attendance also involves exposure to airborne illnesses and other communicable diseases. Guests are expected not to attend if they are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness.

By attending, you voluntarily assume these ordinary risks and agree to exercise reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of others.

  1. Personal Responsibility

Attendees are responsible for their own conduct and for complying with all applicable laws, venue rules, posted signage, and reasonable instructions from event staff.

Any attendee who intentionally or negligently causes damage to the venue, equipment, or property, or causes injury to another person through their own actions may be held financially responsible for resulting damages.

  1. Admission

Admission to the Event is free unless otherwise stated by the Organizer.

The Organizer reserves the right to establish reasonable attendance limits, registration requirements, reserved seating, or priority access for certain screenings, activities, or invited guests when necessary for operational or safety reasons.

  1. Personal Property

Attendees are solely responsible for their personal belongings. The Organizer is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

  1. Photography & Media

The Event may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded for promotional, editorial, documentary, educational, or archival purposes.

By attending, you grant the Organizer the right to use photographs, video, or audio recordings in which you may appear, without additional notice or compensation.

  1. Accessibility

The Organizer makes reasonable efforts to host Events at venues that are accessible and compliant with applicable accessibility requirements, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), where applicable.

Guests requiring reasonable accommodations to fully participate in the Event are encouraged to contact the Organizer through the contact page of the applicable event website at least ten (10) business days before the Event, whenever possible. While some accommodations may depend on the hosting venue or circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control, the Organizer will make reasonable efforts to assist attendees and provide an enjoyable experience for all.

  1. Program Changes

The Organizer reserves the right to modify event schedules, programming, speakers, films, activities, venues within the same metropolitan area, or other event elements when reasonably necessary without creating any right to compensation.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, attendees agree that the Organizer shall not be liable for injuries, losses, damages, or expenses arising from the ordinary risks associated with attending the Event, except where such liability results from the Organizer’s gross negligence, willful misconduct, or other liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

  1. Children & Minors

Parents and legal guardians are solely responsible for the supervision, safety, and conduct of any minor attending the Event. Children must remain under the care and supervision of a parent or legal guardian at all times unless participating in an Organizer supervised activity expressly designated for minors.

The Organizer does not provide general childcare or supervision services and assumes no responsibility for unattended minors.

  1. Pets & Service Animals

The Organizer welcomes well behaved pets at Event activities whenever permitted by the hosting venue. Certain indoor or outdoor venues or individual Event locations may prohibit pets or impose additional restrictions. Attendees are responsible for complying with all applicable venue policies.

Service animals, as defined by applicable law, are welcome in accordance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.

Pet owners are solely responsible for the supervision, behavior, and care of their animals at all times. Pets must remain under their owner’s control and must not create a safety risk, interfere with Event activities, or unreasonably disturb other attendees.

Owners are responsible for immediately cleaning up after their animals and for any damage or injury caused by them. The Organizer and hosting venue reserve the right to require that any animal, other than a service animal protected by law, be removed from the Event if it is disruptive, aggressive, uncontrolled, or if the owner fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions or applicable venue policies.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

  1. Enjoy the Event

Our goal is to provide a welcoming, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone. We ask all attendees to treat fellow guests, filmmakers, speakers, volunteers, venue staff, and property with courtesy and respect.

Thank you for helping us create an enjoyable experience for everyone.
