The 4th Yucca Valley Film Festival kicks off Nov 11, with the California Premiere of THE JACKIE STILES STORY.

Jackie Stiles is one of the most renowned basketball players in the history of the women’s game.
She rewrote the NCAA women’s basketball record books en route to leading the Lady Bears to the 2001 Final Four. Finally to a professional career in the WNBA, Jackie has inspired and impacted millions.
Jackie Stiles averages 47.5 points a game in High School. 30 points a game in College. Sets the all-time NCAA scoring record in Women’s basketball. Becomes a national phenomenon. She turns professional. Is named the WNBA Rookie-of-the-Year. And then Jackie Stiles… disappears.
This is the story of a 5’8” girl from a small Kansas town, population 600, who became a basketball legend in the Midwest. Against all odds, Jackie became the all-time leading scorer in NCAA history. A record she held for nearly 16 years. This feat was accomplished through hard work and unwavering determination.

Jackie achieved her goal of becoming one of the greatest basketball players of all time. But at what price?

ABOUT DIRECTOR BRENT HUFF
Brent Huff is an award-winning actor, writer and director in the fields of documentary, feature films, and TV.
Huff was a Theatre Major at the University of Missouri, where he was also on the basketball and track teams.
In 2012, Huff directed the documentary, Behind the Orange Curtain which addresses the opioid addiction crises in America.
In 2013, his documentary Chasing Beauty pulled back the curtain on the modeling industry and shocked Hollywood, ranking the #1 documentary on iTunes as well as the #1 fashion documentary on IMDb.
BuzzFeed and Image magazine called Chasing Beauty, one of the top fashion documentaries of all time.
THE JACKIE STILES STORY is his latest directorial effort in documentary.
