You have multiple ways of submitting your project.

Submit your work to the 8th Yucca Valley Film Festival, November 6–8, 2026, at the Community Center of Yucca Valley, CA. Screen your film for a live, engaged cinephile audience, lead Q&A sessions, and compete for cash prizes and statewide recognition. Gain real exposure -last year we reached nearly 500 news outlets across North America and rolled out the Hi-Desert’s longest red carpet.
Claim discounted entry: 50% off for San Bernardino-based filmmakers, 40% off for Riverside County. Free for YV, 29P, PT, JT, MV based filmmakers.

1/ DIRECT SUBMISSION

We encourage ALL filmmakers to submit their work directly to us through our Google Form.

A 10% discount will apply to anyone who chooses this direct submission option.

The form is quick to complete and you can just copy and paste some of your FilmFreeway details.

We will then send the PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle information needed to finalize your submission.

2/ I AM A LOCAL FILMMAKER

Local filmmakers get a free submission. Send us an email at yuccavalleyfilmfestival-AT-gmail-DOT-com.

Are considered local filmmakers artists having a permanent address in the Morongo Basin.

Filmmakers based in the San Bernardino and Riverside counties will receive a discount.

3/ I AM A DOMESTIC OR INTERNATIONAL FILMMAKER

All other filmmakers are welcome to submit through any of the options listed below.

We strongly recommend choosing the direct submission. Thank you.

PRIZE MONEY

Each year, a total of $2,500 in prize money is distributed to the winning filmmakers. 2025 details here.
