The Yucca Valley Award is the highest honor presented by the Yucca Valley Film Festival. Each year, a large laser-engraved trophy and a cash prize are awarded to a local filmmaker or to a film produced in the area.
To be eligible, a film must be shot primarily in the local area or have a director or producers with permanent residence in the Morongo Basin.
Since 2019, the winners of the Yucca Valley Award have included science fiction, drama, comedy, and several locally made documentaries. Please explore our selection below.
