YVFF Hits the Airwaves on Z107.7 Ahead of Festival Kickoff

Last week, the Yucca Valley Film Festival took center stage on local radio as documentarian Robbi Robb, Palm Springs–born director Nicole Spring, and Festival Director Matt Beurois joined Z107.7’s Gary Daigneault on the Up Close Show.

Robbi Robb spoke about his new documentary Will & Silence, an intimate portrait of Joshua Tree legend Bobby Furst and his final metal sculptures. The film will open this year’s Yucca Valley Film Festival.

Nicole Spring, a returning YVFF filmmaker, shared insights on her latest dance film Motherhood, part of the Saturday night screening program.

Matt Beurois and Gary Daigneault wrapped up the show with a look at what audiences can expect from this year’s festival lineup and special events.
