Sandābādo is the soul-driven project of musician and producer Jesse Gawlik.
In 2021, Jesse relocated with his family to the Hi-Desert, where the expansive landscape and thriving creative community inspired a new chapter of musical exploration. A chance encounter at an open mic led to his meeting with Josh, and together they formed Sandābādo.

The duo’s chemistry quickly translated into a collection of original songs that evolved into their 2023 EP, 333 — a soulful reflection of their shared vision and sound.
Jesse Gawlik was also the frontman and lead guitarist of the San Diego–based band Broken Stems (2011–2018).

Broken Stems’ full-length album What Are You Connected (2016) featured the breakout single and music video “Hear You Calling,” which landed in the Top 10 of iHeartRadio’s Rising Star competition that same year.
The music video Hear You Calling will screen at the festival on Saturday, Nov 8, during the morning block.
Today, Sandābādo is anticipating the release of their debut album in early 2026, channeling raw emotion and desert-inspired energy — a body of work that captures the spirit of connection, transformation, and creation.
