The Town of Yucca Valley has confirmed that once again, up to $2,500 in prize money will be awarded at the conclusion of the Yucca Valley Film Festival.

Since its inception, the YVFF has celebrated filmmakers with cash prizes, certificates of achievement, and the festival’s signature collectible trophy: the massive Yucca Valley Award.

For the 7th edition in 2025, the total cash prize pool will be distributed among eligible winners across most competition categories.

All movies selected in competition will be considered for cash prizes, if eligible.

Note: Winners must supply W9 form, only US bank accounts are eligible to prize money. Cash prizes are susceptible to change or be adjusted at any time for any reason. Only filmmakers in attendance in person for at least one event are eligible to receive a cash prize. Keep Mojave Free Award and Festival pick may also apply and benefit from a prize money, or not.
