Every year, the YVFF brings 3 local clubs, charities or organizations to the stage and sets up a discussion session with the filmmakers coming to present their films.

“These Meet & Greets are the opportunity for local community members, coaches, clubs and community stakeholders to present and promote their work” explains festival director Matt Beurois.

In recent years, the invited organizations included the YVHS Cheerleaders, the Americana Jiu Jitsu Collective of YV, the YVHS Wrestling Team, the YVHS Lady Trojans, the Homecoming Queen and King…

This year the participating groups are:

The SuperNova All Star Cheers on Friday, Meet & Greet at 6pm and special performance at 6:30pm, right before the Mayor’s opening words

Captain Warrick and his Patrol team on Saturday, Meet & Greet and Police car demonstration at 6:30pm

Miss Yucca Valley and her court on Sunday, with a Meet & Greet during the Industry Event in the morning, and an active participation in the Rapid Fire Pitch Practice at 4pm.

“We are very happy and proud to use the platform of the YVFF to put our local talents and good will on display, for all the festival visitors and filmmakers to discover all the great things happening here in our Hi-Desert Town” concludes Beurois.
