After being a main stage guest in 2023 for a Music Masterclass & live interactive performance, Brian Katona returns to the Yucca Valley Film Festival.
Seasoned music composer, Emmy® & Telly® awards winner, and winner of the YVFF Best Composer award, Brian will help Judge the music entries this year.
Calling all composers to submit their scores to the upcoming 2024, 6th edition of the Yucca Valley Film Festival!
“This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your work and musical talent” says Katona.
The YVFF accepts composition made for a film, a television show, or any project featuring visual media (including commercials, video games…).
“Your submission can even be a piece you feel would someday be fitting for a visual medium” explains Katona.
Please submit an MP3 of your musical score on FilmFreeway. Any track length is acceptable. Please include a short synopsis of your project.

The top five finalists will receive a written adjudication by Emmy® Award-Winning Composer, Brian Katona
The winner will receive a $150 cash prize* plus an exclusive 1 on 1 conversation and score analysis discussion with composer, Brian Katona.
The 2024 YVFF is scheduled for Nov 8, 9, 10, 2024, at the Community Center of Yucca Valley, CA. It will be in-person.
