The Basin Wide Foundation announced their 2023 award recipients and elected the Yucca Valley Film Festival as the “Cultural Contributor of the Year” in the Hi-Desert.
“We are happy, proud and humbled that the Yucca Valley Film Festival was chosen as the Cultural Contributor of the year. It is our goal to serve the community, and that token of appreciation really means a lot to us”
– Auregan & Matt Beurois, festival creators.
Awards are given out every year to businesses, organizations, and individuals who have shown dedication to providing service to the hi-desert community.
The Yucca Valley Film Festival will celebrate 5 years this November, with screenings and events on the 10, 11 & 12.
“In previous years, we worked with the Lady Trojans, Miss Yucca Valley Court & Scholarship, the YVHS Cheerleaders. This year again, we are inviting local organizations to participate in the film festival and use the event as a platform to showcase their missions and promote local talents.”
Matt Beurois, festival programmer
